An aviation themed time gage with two airplanes on display under the crystal… the obvious one is the hand engraved Messerschmitt flying in the lower half of the dial. The not so obvious airplane really comes to light when the balance wheel is oscillating – the balance wheel becomes the spinning propeller, the balance bridge and decorative extensions become the wings. The dial is made out of six different pieces, and the movement has been slightly carved and modified to appear as the second airplane’s tail section deep inside the movement.
The stainless steel case with a sapphire coated crystal is 46mm in diameter and comes with a stainless steel bracelet. Under the dial, is a refined Chinese PTS caliber LTTR001 automatic movement. Airman #2 comes with authentication papers and a automatic watch winder.
